dotPH Hosting Servers Protected Against Newly Reported PHP Security Flaws
On 21 October 2026, the PHP project reported two serious security flaws in PHP, the software that powers many websites, including WordPress sites. If left unfixed, these flaws could let attackers take control of a web server.
dotPH’s web hosting servers are already protected. Our hosting infrastructure providers installed the PHP security updates as soon as they were released.
The updates went in during a short scheduled maintenance that started on 21 October. Some websites may have been briefly unavailable while services restarted. Everything is now back to normal, and your website files, databases and email were not changed.
Most clients don’t need to do anything.
We continue to watch for new security updates and will apply them as they come out.
